You are wrong... I follow American football - not every game in evey season but always the Super Bowl. Since 4 years together with some friends I meet in a sunday night (the game starts about 0:30 local time here in germany) and we watch the game together.
I liked they had some "younger" artists performing this year. But I agree the audio was done poorly. First minute Furgie's microphone is muted... But I liked the show anyway.
When having movable parts in a show you always can run into trouble. This time it was the right part of the V in love that broke down... It can woke in hundrets of test, but in the live show it breaks down. Thats live! I also noticed a lighted suite broken down. Look at 11:57 in the video you posted. On the right line (the 20 yard line) on the donwn half the second from above is switched off

Btw: all thos people with suits with lights in it give a total new meaning to "moving light"
My favorite mistake in a show is the vancouver opening ceremony: The fourth pillar of the Olympic cauldron did not rise up! Here you can see it

This is not very spectacular but then in the closing ceremony something great happend!
SPOILER ALTER! If you not have seen yet but want to before readin along go to 0:35 in this video

They took this mistake as an joke in the closing ceremony. The show started only with 3 of the 4 pillar of the Olympic cauldron standing like in the opening ceremony. A clown showed up on stage and "fixed" the pillar by pluging it in. The pillar raised up and Catriona Le May, who was expected to light the pillar in the opening ceremony, showed up and finaly got her great moment.
This tells us: If you are live mistakes can happen - you just need to handel them the right way
