I have a RGY Laser I built a fixture for. It works well enough.
I set it on a channel any where from DMX 1 to DMX 200 it works fine.. but once i got past dmx setting 200
the laser shoots out a red and green dot and wont function
I would like it to put the fixture on DMX channel 338


This happens if the laser is attached to freestyler entecc open dongle or not attached to anything so that leads me to believe its the laser and not the dongle or software


Is there any way to fix this or work around this...

If i have to put this laser in a diffrent DMX setting below 200 . I would have to re program freestyler entirely and I put adhesive labels on 26 fixtures with the dmx dip switch settings on them.. i would have to remove and replace all of these as well.

try it one time on dmx value 256<--- and lower.
if this works, it can be that your fixture only supports 256dmx channels.

not all the Fixtures supports 512dmx channels.

you were correct it only supported 256 channels. thank you for the help !!

Some time ago i found same issue on JBsystems Space3 lazer it supports only adreses under 200.
