Freestyler crashing on startup

Hello all,
I'm trying to use Freestyler on my Asus netbook with an Enttec USB Pro interface, and when I run it, I get an error. It's a generic Windows error, saying the program stopped working, and is shows a "close" button.
I also have Visual Studio on that machine, and the debugger says the error is "floating point inexact result".
Interestingly, if I unplug the interface, Freestyler loads and runs fine.
I've used the Enttec driver uninstaller, and reloaded the drivers as well, all with no joy. ProUtility which comes with the Enttec interface, shows everything fine, and can control DMX.
Is anyone able to give some guidance? I'm stuck.
Thanks,
Tim

did you all ready tried to re-install Freestyler.
1)Uninstall Freestyler
2)Clear "Registy Keys" From freestyler (jv16powertools, or some other Cleaner)
3)Install Freestyler

I have had a similar problem when testing a recent FreeStyler Beta. I think it was a 3.3.5 pre-release? Anyway, that Beta didn't last long and was replaced by a regular upgrade and the problem went away.

I removed Freestyler, cleaned up the registry, reinstalled, and the problem is still there.

The version I'm using is 3.3.2, the one that's been out a while now. Any other ideas?

Well there you go.... Backup your data and try the latest release 3.3.7 to see if it fixes your problem. This latest version is stable. Not only have a lot of small bugs were fixed between 3.3.2 and this latest one, it also has had a lot of useful features added too.
Here's the Version history:

It's not up to date, but you can see a lot of things get fixed with each revision.

I'm having the same problem and I've tried 3.3.7 too. tried installing drivers and software several times with same results. Program loads with no USB pro connected, try to connect and the software crahses. Works fine on another coumpter, but not on my Tablet PC/laptop. 3.3.7 is supposed to fix a TabTip problem but I've disabled it and still no joy.

I'm still in the same boat, nothing I've done seems to help. One thing is, the netbook runs Windows7 32bit - but I can't see how that would cause trouble (FS runs fine on my Win7 64bit laptop). I know I've already asked, but any other ideas? For some events, like bars, the netbook would be MUCH better, since it was cheap and contains no valuable data.
Thanks,
Tim

Just giving an update to my problem. I went and upgraded my tablet PC from Vista to Windows 7 home and now everything seems to work fine.
More to the update: I'm guessing that the wondows upgrade worked because it started the USB to DMX drivers as a clean wipe. I was upgrading to Freestyler from AMDJ MyDMX. My guess is that my laptop can not handle having two different USB to DMX devices. I made the mistake of wanting to use MyDMX this past weekend instead of Freestyler for a very simple show and I plugged in the AMDJ device and it installed it's driver, but then the program would not connect to its USB device, and then Freestyler wouldn't either to it's Enttec USB Pro when I plugged that in. That's my guess though. So if you are upgrading DMX options, make sure to clean out the old one first.

An update and resolution to this problem, for anyone interested:
While the netbook acted perfectly normal and worked great, service pack 1 wouldn't install when it came out. So I reloaded Windows and the problem with Freestyler has gone away since the reload. No idea why, or what the issue was, but it's been resolved using the "brute force and ignorance" method.
