Freestyler and BCF2000: 2 little questions
Posted: 13 Jan 2011, 07:01
Hi All,
As posted before I'm "playing" around with a BCF2000 icw Freestyler and I must admit that it works great together! Although I had some issues setting it up at first, the forum (and wiki for that matter) provided some great tools, tips and tricks to get it all going.
However; I'm currently facing some minor issues. Maybe you can help out?
1. I created a new .syx-file for the BCF2000 (button configuration changed so that I don't have to press twice for blackout etc...). The .syx-file works just fine, but every time I power-off/-on the BCF2000 again, I need to re-upload the .syx-file. (after which it works fine again untill I power it off again). Any ideas how to make the uploaded .syx-file stick? (fyi: I use SendSX to upload the .syx-file and edited it with BCEdit).
2. I've got some "spare" buttons left on my BCF2000 that I'd like to configure to change the color of my movitecs when I press them. Unfortunately, I'm not quite sure how to do this? Should I change the value of the buttons (on my BCF2K) with BCEDIT to mach the value of the colour? If so, to what controls should I bind these different buttons in the setup > midi control ?
Thank you!
Kind regards,
Michael
