When I installed Magic 3D Easyview, the scanlibrary editor didn't install for some reason. Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem.

I made a fresh install of Freestyler yesterday and included the Magic 3D Easyview. the scanlibrary editor was there as well. Have you tried again? maybe you can download it separately and install it in same directory

SuperstarDJ, do you have anti-virus software running? I had to disable mine during installation to get the Magic 3D software package to successfully download and install. You might have a similar problem.

I'll try reinstalling with my anti-virus disabled, thanks for the ideas

Shut off the anti virus, downloaded and re-installed. Still no luck. I've looked for it in the program files, but it doesn't install for some reason. I downloaded ESA Pro temporarially to use the editor, that should at least take care of me for now.

I can't find the SL Editor anywhere. Installer even put in a blank icon for it in my Start Menu... but there's nothing there. Anyone figure this out? (I did all that was suggested above)

I found it..... Freestyler is installing it with the wrong shortcut. In the program folder it's called 'scanlib.exe' Hope that helps someone besides me!

I think that's it! I knew they had renamed it recently, but I didn't put 1 + 1 together that it may be a problem. I always had the old version in my FreeStyler folder, so my shortcut had always remained valid.

If it hasn't been submitted already, I will report it as a bug.

ETA: Okay, bug report submitted.

thanks, I didn't really know what to do with the info, just wanted to report that I found it :D

See, I'm not totally dumb with computers, I'm just really slow on catching on how to run LIGHTS as peripherals with Freestyler!! :?
