Malware Warning When Installing

I've had a few 'issues' with Freestyler just lately so I have thought I'd try reinstalling from scratch. Having downloaded the latest version and started the install process, AVG threw up a malware waning. It was unhappy about a file called - ccrptmr6.dll - anyone got any thoughts/experience/advice on this?

oke, very weird i also use AVG is just re-install Freestyler i don't get this but if you are sure it is AVG you can set you "RESIDENT SHIELD" off so you don't get this message, and after install you set you "RESIDENT SHIELD" on

and freestyler don't have malware, so far i now

Sometimes the maleware scanner say there is a problem but there actually is no. Often after a few days, when the virus-/maleware difinition file is updated you will not get the warning any longer. But in fact I like to have a warning too many instand of no warning when there is maleware included ;)

This is what they call a 'False positive'. The scanner finds a certain fingerprint, or something that looks like a fingerpirnt of malware in ccrptmr6.dll. It does'nt mean ccrptmr6.dll actually contains or is malware.
