DMX 400 questions

So I've figured out how to control 4 halogen blinders with dmx 400 and it works great, but it won't save to a que or sequence. Am I missing something? Is there a workaround. The dimmer packs have similar built in chases, but not when in DMX controlled mode. I need to trigger via midi onstage. Any suggestions?

The dmx 400 is not controllable by dmx. its more used for quick setups. the sequences are quite siple you would be better to make the sequences your self

How would I go about making a fast chase? All the sequence steps are like 5 seconds long? I'd like to do left to right, right to left, flashing all on & off etc. Do I really have to turn 1 light on then save a step and proceed to the next one?

ou can configure the step time (from 100 ms to "infinite") and fade time (from 500 ms to "infinite") in the create sequence window. Also you could try the FX generator. press the FX in the create sequence window.

Of course you do not have to save every step. You create a sequence with several setps and save the sequence at once when you are ready.
You also can modify the step time during playback in the cue list.
Do your selve a favour and read about creating sequences and the cue list in the FreeStyler wiki http://www.freestylersupport.com/wiki/

The FX generator created some really cool sequences for the 4 blinders. Also worked really cool with my intimidators. I made a pulsing blinder that is very effectice too. Thanks.
