Hello all,
I'm new here and I hope I am posting in the right section - if not please excuse me...
I have a problem with S2L: when I hit the start/stop button, my computer crashes completely, with a blue-screen message. The system is XP SP3 up-to-date.
I will be grateful to anyone might help.
Thank you,
glcgsm.

What fs version do you use?
What s2l version do you have?
How are you inputing the audio to your pc?
What is the spec of your pc?
What usb / dmx device are you using?
Are you using any other usb devices on your system ?
What other software is running o your pc? Virus protection etc?
With this info we might be able to find and solve the problem.

Removed the "please help !!!" part from the title. Everyone wants help.
Can you try to start another application that records audio?
Use a program like Cool Edit, Adobe Audition or the free software Audacity.
See if that software can record without problems.
Next to that, see if you can find newer drivers for your soundcard.

Audacity works just fine... both in built-in MIC recording mode and internal LINE-IN mode...
Drivers are the latest from the DELL website... Thank you for your intention to help... Maybe some other people will come up with other ideas...

I googled 0A008Afx.sys, exactly 0 hits. So I cant find out what its for.
I'm guessing some sort of sound fx driver. Try to disable some sound effects like mic boost, reverb, whatever is active. What does that do?
