Im building a big Midi Control Board for FS with Faders and Buttons. Now you can define the Buttons to the Pushbuttons or Cues.

What i like to do is make my midi buttons lighting up when the Cue according to my midi putton is active.
Is there any way to become a feedback about the buttonstates in the Program to a external system? I can't do it in the midi hardware with latches and flipflop because when you switch the cue with the mouse my hardware doesnt know that the mouse switches the key....

Midi can be a 2 way communication. So the midi device you are building needs to be able to recieve and understand signals as well as transmitting them. The BCF2000 does this job very well. All that happens if the BCF sees the incoming midi channel, note and velocity on the midi line and moves a motorized fader or lights up a button or encoder set accordingly where as a korg keyboard would probably make a noise.
