This is probably not Freestyler specific, but since Freestyler is the only lighting software I've used, I am not sure.

I have created several simple scenes - no scanners yet just different combinations of LED pars. Most of the time they work as planned, but sometimes the colors are wrong. For example, I created several combinations of just white pars; all on, one on, two on, three on, etc. Sometimes, instead of white, I get some other color on all scenes. The cans light up in the correct order/sequence but they are all magenta instead of white. This is using Magic 3D since I don't yet have my Enttec Pro.

I suspect that it may have something to do with how I am programming the scenes. Do you select ALL of your fixtures when saving a scene or just the ones that you are changing? I have only been selecting the pars I am changing and leaving the scanners, bars, and other pars alone since they are not part of the scene.

I guess another way to ask this is, what is saved when you save a scene? Does DMX information on all of your fixtures get saved or only the ones that happen to be selected?

There could be different reasons:

First the Magic 3D fixture profile could be wron... When you select white, does it ALLWAYS show the wrong color? Than this maight be the reason.

Secondly you could have some overrides set to the LED pars. Than this maight override some channels and create a wrong color. If the problem exists some times, and some times not, this could be the reason to you.

Last, what you said about you only selected the channels you used may also be a problem. If there is still an information about color values on lets say channel R and B and you only apply changes to the G channel, the values of R and B still will stay the same.
I allways set all channels wich are used in the scene in every step of the sceene to avoid the funny things you maight get if you do not so.

You can read the FS help (Menu: Help -> Contens) about "Creating Sequences". There you can finde some more information about what is saved. Look at the section about transparant and static mode carefully.

No, only some of the time.

The overrides are denoted by the exclamation marks - correct? I didn't see any of those but I will check again.

I think this is probably what is happening to me.
