Hi guys,
I finally got my new IMG Stageline DMX-510USB Box. Looks nice, but it didnt work.

My specs: Win Vista 32bit, for Testing: 1 LED PAR 56 on DMX Ch 1

I installed everything with this guide on the cd. The thing is: it seems to work with the included software "dmx510usb" - but in Freestyler I cant found anything if my interface is connected and if it works.

I started with freestyler with a little guide. So Ive choosen my Interface in the Pref Panel. But the LED PAR stays off.

I have no idea - can someone of you pro guys help me out?

danke für deine Antwort - ich nutze USB. Aber ich hab glaub ich gemerkt, woran es lag:
Man muss wohl Freestyler als Benutzer mit Administrativen Rechten starten.
Aktuell scheint der Test mit 2 LED PAR Kannen zu funktionieren.

Das einzige was mich wundert ist, dass per Blackout Button nur einer der Beiden LEDs aus geht.

Hast du eine Idee?

Thank you for your answere - I am using USB. But I think I found out what the problem was:
You have to start Freestyler with administrator rights.
Currently the test with 2 LED Par Cans seams to work.

The only thing suprising me, if I hit blackout only one of the two LEDs shutes down.

Do you have any idea?

I have the same dongle & mine is not playing ball with me!

How would you get admin rights on windows?? (sorry!)

I did the install ok, the driver loaded, but mine just isnt working!

I tried the unit on a win 7 netbook & also a win xp netbook (Lucky to have 2 netbooks!!), but still no joy....

The unit lights up to say it knows the netbook has a driver & is attached, but no output from the unit to my abstract VR8's....... GUTTED!

Any help would be gratefully received!

In windows 7 / Vista, Right Click the FreeStyler icon and select "Run as Administrator"

i have this dmx usb box, but the cd is damaged does anyone have a copy they can upload and send to me so i can get this working.
