Please help! Martin 2510 & freestyler question

I have a couple Martin scx600's scanners and I would love to run them in auto music mode with the ability to use the blackout function when desired.
(and yes I've tried making my own sequences and shows but mine are never as good as the auto modes)
So I've been trying to track down a Martin 2510 controller but am having a very very hard time doing so (the 2510 allows preprogrammed shows from Martin to be uploaded)
Then I discovered freestyler dmx software, which can import b25 show files (for the Martin 2510)
So I was wondering if I can use freestyler by itself to run these shows or do I still need the 2510 controller?
sorry for the long post, but I'm at a dead end and any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks

I think you can export sequences from FS to the 2510 only.... not the other way around? I have to check it when i'm getting home from work. otherwise check it yourself. If there is a import from 2510 feature to could try to see if you can save and run the sequences. but I doubt you can

Hi,
Thanks for the reply, I checked and your right it doesn't look possible, but I'm a bit confused by it all and thought there was maybe a way to do it..

Correct. I have used FS many times to upload to 2510. FS will make the required files for the 2510 but there is no way to convert them back so any b25 files you have are only any good with the controller. 2510's are still avalible from Martin and they pop up on ebay for next to nothing quite often so if you want one then you should easily get one.

Hi

Try the "import" menu item, you should be able to import a .b25 file.
