From hardware to software

So I've ordered a Entec Open DMX and I've been playing around in FS, created my fixtures and programmed some scenes. And saved a couple sequences. And here's where I'm stuck.
So I add the sequences to the cue window, but I can only run one cue at a time.
I come from a background of using a hardware DMX controller, specifically the ADJ DMX Operator, and I'm trying to figure out how Freestyler has the equivalent in banks and chases. Freestyler has 15 scences max(can be changed through .ini), the Operator has 8 per bank, so essentially each 15 scenes = bank (sequence) in freestyler? The Operator has 30 banks, and freestyler can hold unlimited number of sequences. Now the part I'm most curious about is chases, which I'm guessing are the equivalent to cues in Freestyler. The operator has 6 chases of 240 scenes max. The cue window has about 20 or so cues available, but it seems each cue only runs 1 sequence? That doesn't seem right, that I would only be able to run like 20 sequences total? And I can only run one cue at a time.
When I'm out at gigs, I pretty much hit all the chases and set it and forget it. Is there a way to do that with Freestyler? I don't want to have to keep switching cues manually throughout the show.
I've read through the wiki about submasters but I'm really confused about that, because that says I can have 20 sequences per cue by using those. Can submasters run in sequence with each other i.e Submaster 1 runs through all 20 sequences then runs Submaster 2 and those sequnces and so on?
Last but not least, Is it possible to program 2 separate shows? 1 let's say for my 4 LED pars, and then 1 for my moving heads. Then actually be able to play both shows back simultaneously, but again using more than 1 sequence/cue at a time. So kinda like if I had 2 DMX Operators running at the same time, 1 for the pars and 1 for moving heads, both using it's own chases.
Any help is appreciated. Thanks
