Hey guys, first off I would love to say, thank you for FreeStyler, it's awesome, now on with my question.

I just downloaded and installed the latest release(3.3.2) and I can not open FixtureCreator. I get no error message just the windows error "bong" sound, I have tried to reinstall it and still the same thing. I am running windows XP.

ok, found the solution...rename fixtureCreator.exe.manifest to fixtureCreator.exe.manifest.old and there you go

Hey

I have got the same problem and fixed it on my side. It was impossible to open Fixturescreator.I have only changed the the windows compatibility of the Fixturecreator exe file to compatibility Windows 2000. And it is running properly now.
To do it:
1/ from windows explorer select the Freestyler directory: C:\Freestyler
2/ Right click on fixturecreator.exe
3/ Select properties
4/ In this window select the 3rd folder compatibility
5/ Check the first option and select in the list Windows 2000
6/ Then click apply and OK

That'all.
My configuration is:
Windows XP SP3
Freestyler version Is 3.3.2

I hope this method will help you.

its a known bug, Raph has commented on the solution before.
