Using Submasters to cross fade between scenes

I've been trying out FS for some weeks and I very much like the close integration with my Behringer BCF2000. However, I have a requirement to manually cross-fade between 2 static scenes (rather than dynamic sequences) on stage with a set of standard dimmers at different levels within each scene, utilising Highest Takes Precedence fading. So far I've been unable to make FS do this using Submasters or any other way. Can anyone help?
I would use a simpler 2 preset cross-fade type program for this, but I also use intelligent fixtures for which FS is ideal.
(I'm now running 2.96h on Win XP)
Thanks.

Freestyler doesn't have any HTP, it works on Last takes precedence.
Im unsure of how you would be able to get this to work with freestyler.

Is there any particuar reason why it says (HTP) above the submasters then in the latest version not sure about the older ones?
i only noticed it last night while setting up a venue, so i may have mis read it or something?

I cant find that label any where, above my submasters is the name of my cue list.
Iv done a test and is defiantly last takes controle. I set up two scene one with a par on full one with a par on half.
added them to submasters played the full, then played the half (separate subs), when i clicked on half scene, the fixture went to half (intensity faders on full on both) if it was HTP the fixture should stay on full.
then started full scene, fixture went to full, Half scene still playing. Took the full scene intencity down to zero fixture went to zero and not half as you would expect if HTP.

from manual... aka help file with FS :
SUBMASTER
In each submaster you can load a cue (drag & drop from the cue list) from wich the intensity is controlled by the slider on the right (HTP).
The sequence in the list is runned by pressing "Run" or stopped by pressing "Stop".
You can select another sequence by clicking "Go" (next sequence) and "Back" (previous step). When one of the submasters is enabled then you can't use the cue because they use the same system!!
When the submaster window is opened without any submaster enabled the sequence window won't update any intensity channels!!!
When running a submaster you can change the speed and other options in the cue window. Submaster 1 corresponds with the 1st sequence, submaster 2 with the second sequence, etc...
Up to 20 submasters can be configured and runned at the same time.

I guess the manual requires an update.
As this is no longer the case, it seem not to have any precedence raiting at all (HTP, LTP), Starting a new submaster takes over the entire channel block, and the old submaster now has no control over the fixtures in the new sub.

One good thing has happened because of this topic, i found a new bug regarding the master intensity.
The master intencity doesn't update until the cue advances to the next scene.
