WOHOOOO 28 years after "Nicole - Ein bischen Frieden" again a german winner :)

Congratulations to Lena

By the way - this year was the first year a jury was installd in every country. The points are calculated 50% of the votings and 50% of the jury matter. So it is not that politic. BUT you are right - there are some points wich seams to be very politic...

Oh, and have you noticed the lights - I would like to controll such big setup some day (the guy who is buying the lights will kill me if I tell him). But I think I could get in trouble using FS then. So I definitely need some more universes ;)

its also because we use crap acts. our good artists won't compete now as were sure to lose every time...

The stage and set was amazing and as usual most of the acts were shit.
God only knows how the German girl won, she can sing that well. Oh yeah that right the 'Studio' version of this sounds ok and the record company managed to
market it around the whole of Europe (where to be fair most of the pop music is total rubbish at best!.) So the song was already well established in the minds of many Europeans! FIX FIX FIX (By the way Im not saying the UK effort was any good cause it was not, total shit would sum that up, we probably deserved to come last).

To be honest Im not sure who should have won but Im sure there was more talented entries than the crappy German effort.

The whole show is a political shame where neighbouring countries vote for each other regardless of the merits of the song and performance.

Anyway I watched it to see the stage set which gets better every year and is a credit to the crews and operators involved. Very well done it looked awsome.

I'm still singing the f*cking Shalalie shalala song from the Netherlands. What did they think sending that crap in?
We have some really great artists here. Many operate worldwide. Some DJ's from NL are the worlds 1st, 2nd and 3rd I believe. And we send in 'Shalalie'.'

Anyway, although I hate the German language for some reason, I feel that the German winner did deserve it big time. Nice looking girl. If I found her in my bed lying around some day, I would'nt sent her away.

... Ow yeah: The song was good and she sung it good.

The german team also mentioned the found the "Schalali-Schalala"-song great. They told us to vote for it if it gets into the final.

The prolbem with Lena (the germanan singer) is her accent. I think for a native speaker it must sound terrible. But it seams that europe (and espacial the nothern countrys like, Danmark, Norway, Sweden) like it ;)

I have to say I liked the France songe. Those african-elements in there realy sounds good. But at least the opinion which music is good and wich not still is subjective. You never can finde a song that everyone likes.

Well I didn't see the final, only saw the for round (is that a good word for saying that?). Maybe she sung better then.
But it might be I was more looking than listening.

She (Lena) never sung in the semi-finals (I think this is a better word). As the germans are one of the biggest sponsores we get a wildcard every year... Otherwise te last years the finals would be without germany :D
