Hi,
someone can help me make a fixture for Alkalite TP-81?

I really need it.

The user manual is here http://www.elationlighting.com/pdffiles ... Manual.pdf.

Thanks in advance,

José Marques

You need to write in which channel mode and dmx mode you want the fixture in, before people can help you (see manual, page 6). however it is a easy fixture to make yourself.

with that said, I have already made it for a while ago because I thought I got the chance to play with 8 of them, never happened  . I think I made the fixture(s) in channel mode 3 and dmx mode 1, but I'm not sure. the fixure file(s) is on my old desktop which I don't use any more, that's why I forgot I had the files. It is stupid not to share them with others (when I want other users to do the same).

tell me the channel mode and dmx mode you want, then I try to give my old mess of a desktop some first aid

I want it in 12 channel mode.

1:Rainbow Effect
2:Red
3:Green
4:Blue
5:Strobe
6:Audio on/off

6 channel for each half.

Can you help me?:)

You just create one six channel fixture, and then patch it twice for each real fixture, for the mode you want, i.e. one for the left half and one for the right half. If using the 48 channel mode then you would patch 8 of the fixtures for one real fixture.

Create it yourself it's not hard, have a look at the FreeStyler Wiki on creating LED BAR fixtures, should give you enough of an idea how to do it.

@ Jonny - As I already have made the fixture and promised djzm the file, I have to keep my word ;)

@ djzm - As jonny said you only need one fixture file, you just add it several times in Freestyler. Fortunately I already made the fixture file in 6 channel mode.
if you want to run the TP-81
in DMX mode 1, you add 8 of my fixture file for each TP-81.
In DMX mode 2, you add 4,
in DMX mode 4, you add 2
and for DMX mode 8 you add 1

I have made colour change, chase and strobe channels in the gobo attributes, but also as macros. I can't remember why

Do yourself a favour and open the fixture file in the fixture creator and look how I have done it while you also look in the manual. this way you will learn how to make a fixture file yourself. also, if you want to adjust the fixture file you can do that as well. Tell me if the fixture file don't work for you so you/I can change it before you/I upload it to the fixture file forum so others can benefit of it!!

Enjoy!

Download it and just click on it. It will then automaticly be imported and showed.
(FreeStyler needs to be installed)
