Am I stupid?

I don't think so, but.... trying to create a few scenes for the moving heads like I did with the scans. Using bezier is very nice, so I create a 3 steps, slow sequence with the "eight", changing gobos/colors in each step.
Playing the scene alone works fine, saving, reloading it in the scene editor, no problem.
Now I put it in a cue and... when using the cue the pan/tilt are off, the moving heads just don't move. They are set to fade in the scene, I also tried "off", no way.

That's exactly what I did with the scan 2 days ago and it worked fine.

Scratching my head once more.

Edit: dozens of various tries later, things are getting worse. Now I recall the scene, heads don't move anymore and the "On/off" button remains yellow "On" even when clicking on it. Clicking on "new" in the scene editor sets it to off... remains off even when clicking again on it.

I confirm what I suspected a few days ago, something is fubar in the code in the bezier moving/recording area....

Edit 2: Hey! 2.96H beta is released. Gonna try that, who knows :) ....... bad luck, same problem.
Trying to reload another scene.. ooopsss.. Access violation, exit FS.

Step by step failure:

Start FS
Select 2 moving heads
Click "create sequence"
OPen all panels
Select gobo, color, lamp on
Click" on" the rectangle, without changing anything
Up to there, everything is fine, makes a rectangle moving.
Save scene.
Open up cue panel.
Add the scene to a cue.
Click on the scene in the cue.
Works fine!

Simply change the rectangle to "eight"
Re-save the scene.
Close the pan/tilt window.
Clcik the scene in the cue.
Nothing moves anymore.

Reopen the pan/tilt window, movement is stopped.
Click on "Off" in the pan/tilt window.. remains red, nothing happens, doesn't start anymore.
From then on, you have to close/restart FS, 'cause nothing works properly anymore in the bezier section.. and even the cue that was working doesn't work anymore. If you close/restart FS, at least this one works, but the modified one still doesnt move.

20 hours from the 1st party with FS, ouchh.. :-(

Hello,

Any update on this? I've uninstalled FS, deleted the FS directory, reinstalled 2.96H, re-configured everything from scratch, it's still exactly the same problem. Bezier movement does not seem to be saved with the scene.

This has long been a problem in freestyler, various updates and patches and its better but still not perfect.
We have found if you open freestyler and set all fixtures to a bezzier cures the problem.
If not when adding a second bezzier, select the old fixture on its own and stop the bezzier, select the fixtures to run the bezzier and start the tool. Works for me.

Hmm, I'll be glad if there is a consistent workaround while waiting for a real bug fix!
Can you explain a little more in details? What is "the old fixture", "adding a second bezier" (to what?), etc..

Thanks!

The second bezzier refers to another shape being started on another fixture,
the old fixture refers to the fixtures which had a bezzier allready assigned to them.
