speed/responsiveness issues when using touchscreen

Hi Guys,

I have been experimenting with the touchscreen setup and have found that when it is turned on, the responsiveness to midi control drops massively.

As you move the faders up and down, the window with the touchscreen buttons on seems to continuously refresh (the text on the buttons all flash around) meaning that the screen redraws for fader bars and the responsiveness of the lights becomes very poor. The lights all lag behind your fader movements.

At the moment this is making the use of both together an impossibility. Which is a shame, as I have a gig on the 14th for which I am now relying on it! :P

Any ideas, thoughts, or should I pass this one over to Raph?

I think you should send a bugreport to Raph.

Is that touchscreen all USB and no video connection ? As that might be the problem as two much data being pushed over the USB hub ? It is just a thought I don't know for sure, programmers amongst you might know better.

What mode do you have the touchscreen set in in freestyler?

Hi Guys,

Indeed I do intend to use it with the USB monitor. However, it happens when using a normal monitor too. I guessed it might be the USB data issue, but it seems not...

Also tried playing a video on the USB monitor, but leaving touchscreen mode off, and its perfectly quick enough then :o|

I am using touchscreen mode 2.

I think I'll stick this in a bug report :)
