Wii remote control?

Hi,

Just been thinking - I went and bought a Nintendo Wii this weekend and have discovered that the remote is BlueTooth and that someone has hacked together a windows driver.

Just wondered if anyone had managed to use it with freestyler? It appears that you can just sent the buttons to emulate certain keyboard presses.

Gonna get a BlueTooth adaptor and will let you know the outcome.

This could be a interesting idea.. You can use your "hand" to move the lights! Gyroscopic... interesting.. please let us know how it turns out.

Hi!

First, I must confess that I do not use Freestyler. ;)
But I might have a hint for you:
GlovePie: http://carl.kenner.googlepages.com/glovepie

This Software translates the Wii-buttons, Wii-motions, etc. to whatever you configure it to. Enough Wiimote-Sample scripts are included. So you can create Keyboard-Strokes, virtual Joystick-Movements, etc. to use it as an input for Freestyler.
Up to 8 Wiimotes can be used at the same time. Inclusive LED, vibration and Sound-Feedback.

I sucessfully controlled an other Freeware-DMX-Software (DMXC) with it, but don't expect to much. 8-)
