Hi i currently use pcdj for my disco and show , my question is this ....

I also have a show where i have my backing tracks on the pc , is there a way to say have track 1 play and it pic up a associated light sequence ? then do the same for track 2 3 4 even if i i jump from say tack 1 to 4 it would know the light sequence to play ? What is the best way to do this ?

I know it is possible with winamp.... dunno about your prog though...

You could use Sound to light and just change the scenes man...

What i need is it to be in sync with the audio track exactly because i have a strobe light that should come on at certain intervals , is this the best application to use for my show ? or is there one that would suit better ? I just bought a enttec pro interface.

well you could set up freestyler to use a keyboard shortcut for your cues then alt+tab between programs i.e. in a quick alt+tab then press the key shrtcut would start it cue then alt tab back to pcdj

or get two monitors have FS on one pcdj on the other then you can start cues by just going over to your right monitor!

were trying to get implemented a 'always' on top button for the cue list then that would solve your problem! set up the cues etc turn that on then that should float above pc dj allowing you to click play on pcdj then just click play on cue!

i think winamp is the way to go, as freetsyler supports the time stamp that winamp sends out and will do exactly as you want.

I'd be happy to do some testing if this was made available do we know when ? I would prefer to be able just to use the one application ie pcdj as this works great for the disco and karaoke , so putting my show into it wouldn't be a problem.

which part alweays on top or split screen?? split screen (pc dj and fs on seperate monitors) only needs your laptop to have a monitor out or pc with two outputs its really easy to do!

I think always on top , problem with split screen is PCDJ uses split screen to do the karaoke function. Ie the Lyrics on one screen and DJ software on the other. Is there a way you can get it to do timeline like that in winamp ?

erm not ure what u mean by that - Ive been working since 6am (up at 4:30am) and now its 6pm and im off out till 2am!
Have 3 monitors?? I guess your using a laptop

S-video -> Monitor -> Display

If you have a spare monitor and TV!

And i presume you would be using the KJ part of PCDJ

Win amps not the way to go... Wouldnt winamp output sound hence sounding silly when pcdj outputs sound??

Doesnt pcdj use like modules i.e. the KJ part isnt that built buy someone else may another programmer could build a freestyler addon lol

Not sre what bit you don't uderstand ? From what i have read you can set your sequences to run in conjuntion with the timeline is winamp can this be done in pcdj ?
