After installing the latest version of freestyler, 3.3.1, i loose connection with my BCF2000.

Then i need to stop/start the midi device in the settings menu.

Does someone else have this problem also?

edit: PS. No its not an underpowered USB device.

I had it a long time ago, when i was programming at home. I have never experienced it on a live show. I don't have any idea of what it could be. Try to use another USB port and see what happens...

[EDIT] Ihave used the BCF2000 and version 3.3.1 a couple of times without any issues

This suggests that the problem started after installing the new version. Did it?
For a test; revert to the previous version and see what it does.

From there we can try to seek the source and make sure if (or if not) FreeStyler is the source of the problems.

To do this i need the installer of the older version, i already searched for it, but did not find it.

Then i can test if the problem is gone or not.

I was going to point you to: http://www.freestylersupport.com/fsforu ... m.php?f=44
But only versions 2.xx are there for some reason.

Something else: Never upgrade anything (importand) without having a backup of the previous version (settings and setup).
Having said that: I'm at work at the moment, so I can't attach the previous version. If I get home tonight I'll look for it and attach it here.

Your absolutely correct..

Normally i archive a program, but just this one time, i did not backup the setup.
I have looked in my software archive.. but there is nothing there.

I have version 3.2.8 if you want it. I can put it up on my server for you to download. Also have patch 3.2.9 as well.

Uploaded several files to here: http://www.digiplay.nl/fs/tmp_exe/ so Onge can keep on lying in the sun drinking a nice beer.
Files wil stay there a few days.
setup32.exe - I *think* its the 3.2.8 setup (@Onge, maybe you can verify that?)
patch329.exe - The patch to 3.2.9 - if needed.

Nope, not the 3.2.8 version differing sizes.

I also have a patch to take setup32.exe to 3.2.3

I wish I could be laying in the sun drinking beer, better than slaving over a hot laser all day :(

FreeStyler 3.2.8 Setup can be downloaded from here. I will leave it up for a couple of days then remove the link, need to think of my band width :ugeek: :)
