Hey everyone, I've created a profile for the Giotto Spot 400 but cannot seem to get the shutter to open. All of the values and channels seem to be correct, but is still not working. Can someone please help me out with this? I've uploaded the manual and profile I created.

the zip file is somehow corrupted. please upload the exported fixture file ("file --> export fixture" in the fixture creator program) and the manual as separate files.

Ive locked this thread.
I belive the file you have posted contains a Trojan.

If this was not malicious then please create a new post and upload the bare file(s) NOT A ZIP!!

FYI: It could be a false positive, meaning that there might not be a trojan in the zip.

@DoeorDie: Next time upload only the exported fixture file (*.pff). That contains everything needed, including images.

Ive just had a look at the logs for my virus scanner and what it picked up was 'Blackra1n.exe'
This is not a virus. Its a program for jailbreaking iPhones!
Its very strange that at the same moment I open the zip that AVG kicked in and found a threat. - Blackrain has been on my laptop for months so why now?

@ Doeordie - sorry, it would see that your post was inoccent but please as Remco said - Don't Post Zips!

I've unlocked the topic so that Doeordie can re-post the file here. Seems better to me. :)

I don't know what 'Blackra1n.exe' is. If I saw this .exe in the zip or on my computer, I'd immediately think its a virus or some other thread. (Because I don't know what it is and because of the filename structure).
'Blackra1n.exe' was not in the zip right? Otherwise I'll be kicking Doeordie ass to his mouth.

Every anti virus software package does a false positive every now and then - its no big deal, its just a 'make dmxlighting scared' message. ;)
It could be that AVG had an update (don't they update like daily?) and that the update has info what causes the false positive. Chances are that a next update the false positive for this scenario is fixed. But there is an OR: it could be a true positive, meaning that AVG is right... Why now? AVG just had its update and Blackra1n.exe's contents have a virus or some other thread on board.

I'm not a gamer, but from time to time I play Warcraft III - Reign of Chaos. One day my AVG scanner jumped up crying about the warcraft executable was a thread. Happily choosed ignore and played on - I was pretty sure AVG just did a false positive. The day after the 'thread' was gone. :)

when I try to unpack the zip file, i get this error message from WinRAR:

! D:\Kristian\Downloads\309_m001251_gb.zip: The archive is either in unknown format or damaged

via WinRAR I can see there is only one file and that is M001251_GB.pdf. No viruses found. I even did a complete check up of the computer, nothing,

I think re-upload the exportet files (NO Ziped or Rared files) would be the best.

Hey guys,

My brother and I uploaded the .zip. I know for a fact there was not a virus in the file. The only stuff that was in there was the fixture file and the manual for the Giotto spot. Sorry for the hassle. In this post I have uploaded the fixture file we are having problems with. I apologize once again and thanks for the help!
