Edit Sequences without the Sequence Editor

Hi! First: Freestyler-Wiki is absolutely great - in the same way like Freestyler-Software. :D

My question:
How can I edit my sequences in a table, where I can fill my DMX data (e.g. of color, dimmer, shutter, gobo...).
Now I´m using version 3.2.8. In former versions it was possible to see a table in the sequence editor, where
you can fill your desired dmx data.

Need:
When you want to add e.g. LED-PAR cans to a existing sequence of moving heads and scanners you cannot
use the Sequence-Editor.

Disired Solution:
Is it possible to use a external Editor to correct or edit existing sequence-files? Is there somewhere a table-view in the current
freestyler, where I can fill in my dmx data like in older versions?
Thanks to all your incoming answers. Greets from Bavaria in Germany.

There are alot of people who miss the old sequence editor. Myself included!

I guess the developer removed this feature as it was causing some problem with the new versions of FS.

To my knowledge, at present there is no easy way to edit these files and no plan (as far as I know) to make one.
As you said, a stand alone program to do this may be the answer!

I made some work to understand the way sequences are encoded.

I already have a good idea of how things are embedded, but I miss time to developp something to edit files. I will try to provide with a small software in the coming days.
