When I Stop a Sequence the last step will still be lighted....
And I have seen the button "Restore value to original....."
Why isnt this button always in??
And If someone realy Use the standard option why cant there be a question in the OPTION screen or why doesnt it saves the value when U save???
Its very anoing to click all the 20 button every time I start the program....

It can be useful, Say you have a que run only once, when it finishes you don't wont your stage to go black, just stop on the last value.
Same with if you accidental stop a scene.
or if you stop a scene prematurely, say like a pause in a beat, then want it to continue.
I agree with having the default to set to restore, but not to remove it all together.
PS The option is now saved when you save the cue list.

No take it away is not an good thing but it would be best if U can click that you dont want it to Clear because its not that often...
But with save it would be better and best with itchanged or if it is clicked when U start a new Place...
I would like to say a thing about the program to the people who makes it...
GOOD WORK!!
Its a very good program and its very good to start with..
I have been working with for example Sunlite, Martin.......
FreeStyler is much more user friendly...
Its some smalll things I would like from it and then it would be placed at the Clubs I work with..

Hi Guys,
I may be speaking from a minority, but I find that utility of keeping the last step of the sequence on when the scene is deselected is VERY useful.
I have been working in theatres and function centres for many years and since I've been using the software its been a lifesaver.
Because Freestyler has a limited cuelist (I'm not complaining), for more complex shows I often use one sequence to hold two or three scenes with their transitions and I deselect restore values and work through the scenes on a 'click on' for transition, 'click off' to hold scene.
Freestyler a fantastic program that anyone can use, and if options start being removed like you suggest, it will simply become a program for a small group of people and that's when you start getting into the Lightjockey, Sunlite and Lightfactory realm. I think its great if its an option added to make it easier for you, but I don't think it should be mandatory, just to save you clicking 20 times when you open Freestyler.
Freestyler is unique because input is taken from everyone and the customization is maximized to suit everyone.
Just my two cents

you always say that there is no limit for the cues but I don't think that clearing the list and readding 20 other cues between two songs is really great.
it takes too much time
I know there is the fastcue switcher, and tried to use it but I would like to have more explanations to how create items in this list

Hit the save cue button and your list will be added into the fast cue switcher.

This is soooo true. Thank you and a great job. I've been using this program for almost a year now, and It has to be the easiest, most user friendly and most trustworthy lighting program I've worked with in all my years of lighting. In fact I'm getting ready to do a huge corporate show for Nintendo and Freestyler will be my lighting board. I'll post pictures of the show when it happens.

I may be missing something but I cant get the restore original values feature to work. For example, if i run a shutter chase on my 4 scanners without the restore button then when i stop the chase then I will have one scanner on, that how it should be. However, when i have the 4 scanners ON (open shutter), run the chase with the return button activated, then stop the chase the scanners blackout.
This is the same when running a movement cue too. Instead of returning to there pervious position they go to one extream or the other. I have the same problem with my MACs too.
Am I just doing something wrong?

...except that I still cant get it to do what I want. I have set both start up and favorite to what I want my default position to be, with the restore button activated everything is just getting set to zero when the sequence stops.
