Hi,

I'm using Freestyler since last week and I have some doubts...

I've created 4 groups with my fixtures and assigned every group to a shortcut (group 1 = 1, Group 2 = 2, Group 3 = 3 , Group 4 = 4), I saved shortcut configuration and the Freestyler document. When I closed freestyler and i've opened it again the shortcut configuration didn't saved...

how can I save the shortcuts forever?

Setup > Freestyler Setup > External Control > Keyboard Shortcuts

Then add in the shortcuts you want and the 'SAVE' (Bottom left, see screen shot)

Then, unless you change it it will always be there. Example - I always have the 'B' set as blackout and the 'F' set as freeze.

i've done it before but it doesn't work. Now my shortcuts are saved!

I can recall that I had some issues about the short cut keys for groups.
Did you delete any of your groups before having this issue?
In what order did you do it? adding groups, then short cut keys or vice versa?

I tried now another time and the shortcuts have desapeared... some times freestyler save my shortcuts, sometimes delete it...

First of all I create the groups (4) and then I asign the shortcut to the groups...I saved but when I close and reopen the software, shortcuts aren't there...

I'm going to send a bug report...

the shortcuts didn't saved, the groups didn't saved and the Extra Options didn't save...

does anyone else has this problem??? otherwise could there be something wrong with paco's install? some conflicts which causes that no settings are saved when FS closes?

@paco. try to reinstall FS and see if you still have the problem

Ive never used the 'groups' shortcut keys but I have used others with no problems ever.
I will try the groups out and let you all know what my experiences are.

I do agree with LJ that a total reinstall could sort the problem.

Yesterday I uninstall FS and Install it another time...in c:\...

I have 2 files of FS with my configuration, and when I installed yesterday FS I open FREESTYLER and it opens with one of my files, I tried the shortcuts and options and it be able and works okei...

then, I closed FS and I try to open my files, so, FS is closed and I opened it, starting one of my files no clicking in the FS icon....then the shortctus and options desapeared.

I closed FS and go to the FS icon, click on it, and wow! shortcuts and options are working...why???

Why are clicking on your file? Are talking about a named sequence file?? I think you already figured it out. Only open FS from it's icon, not your file and your shortcuts will be there.

Starting one of what files???
What do you do exactly? What file is it? What is its name? How do you start it? (double click?)
Be more specific!

Hi,

When I say a FS File, I mean that I clicked in a Location that I've saved...then doesn't work, but if I open FS by clicking on FS icon, it works ok!
