FreeStyler as an iPad app?

Raph, you should consider it! The iPad running FreeStyler could be used as the controller for a wireless DMX-over-Ethernet system. I would easily pay around $100 (~€75) or more for such an app to replace the current setup I have. The incredible amount of space and weight savings would be worth it.

Good luck with that. A few of us have been hopng that someone would make a bespoke Iphone / Ipod touch app, which would also work on the 'new' ipad.
As yet nobody has made one. Some of the reason for this is the cost involved in getting a license from apple to develop software and then allow it to be download, for free of paid for via itunes.
There is the 'jailbreak' route but many users would not want to do that. I have an old jailbroken iphone 3g that I gave my wife and I have a non jailbroken 3gs.
I would not JB my phone while still in contract.
On the whole ipad thing, do you think it will catch on or is it just a BIG iphone ? Im not really a fan of tablet style pc's. I like my laptop.
Im not really sure I want an ipad but I love my iphone.

I heard it's the other way around.... Now that the iPad is out, Apple is going to rename the iPhone as the "iPad Nano".
I think it looks like a good device. There's a lot more criticisms about the device than praises right now. But I remember when the iPhone first came out, I didn't think I'd like it. Once I used it, then a lot of things made sense. It could be the same way with the iPad. Who knows?

I have purchased and attempted to use your plugin. I cannot get it to connect. I also cannot find ANY instructions on ports and such. Can you help me?
