Freestyler Crashes in Windows 7

Dear freestyler friends.

I have set up a new installation in a local kidsclub where I manage the lighting.

Because I choose a Touchscreen setup I had to install Windows 7 because the touchscreen doesn't work on Windows Xp.

Unfortunately Freestyler crashes when I want to load a Cue or load a cuelist.
It seems that it has something to do with the amount of characters in a cue.

For example: When I save a chase named ScansSinePan then Freestyler crashes when I want to load this chase.
When I save the chase as ScansSinePa (so without the last character) it works fine!

Freestyler is installed on a clean Windows 7 install, I also tried another Windows 7 machine. The same occurs.

Freestyler is installed on the c:\freestyler folder. So it isn't in Program Files. Also I am a Administrator, UAC is off.

Offcourse the workaround for now is avoiding long filenames, but it always worked on Windows Xp.

I've also tried different versions of FS, unfortunately the same problem occurs.

I hope someone has the solution for this problem!

Thanks in advance.

Thank you for your response,

It is a 32bit version.

I checked the german dmx4all site and I noticed that there was a new driver for the dmx4all dongle for windows 7, I will try this one and I hope it works.

Try selecting the virtual interface in FreeStyler and do the same test.

It seems that the touchscreen caused the problem.

I updated some drivers of the touchscreen and now it works ok!

When FS crashed Windows reported a error in the following file: comctl32.dll.

Thanx for the replies!
