would anyone know where i could aquire a dmx adaptor to run the freestyler software on a pair of mk1 218s

what type of adapter do you require?
3 pin to 5 pin?
X-over?
DMX Splitter?

they are 3 pin plugs,,is it a crossover or is it an electronic converter. i,m assuming its a dmx to martin protocal adapter

when i plug my 218s into my freestyler software,via stage line box,,,nothing happens,so im assuming they need the adaptor, dmx to martin protocal

You may struggle finding what you want, being such an old fixture.
The mk2 did have DMX over the martin protocol.
Your best bet is ebay or another used lighting website
