Toolbar close option?

I need to explain this further....
At the moment, when you press a icon below the toolbar, for example Cue, the Cue window opens.
But if you press it again, it does not close. This might be a useful feature, to keep all windows in sight, when you open the wrong one, or have to many open.
For ex. locked it should stay open but if unlocked, It closes.
Safes a lot of mousing

The windows you talk of are for play back when on a show.
Why would you want to close them ?
In show mode I have the cue and submaster windows open all the time! I cant think of a reason for needing to close them unless im shutting down.

i think its just was an example how the close option could work. and sometimes you need to close the cue and submaster windows when you have tested some sequences and want to edit them in the sequence creator in ONLINE mode. then its quick to press the Cue, submaster and seq. creator buttons.
I think it could be a "nice to have" feature and shouldn't be so hard to program (but I don't know, I'm not the developer). furthermore the "show all panels" could close all panels (or a new button could bee added to "close all panels" independent of all or some panels are open.

About the offline online mode, I would like to have the option to switch offline/online mode.
From time to time I need to create/edit sequences online - while the show is running.
Anyway, I think the idea of cyberb0b is pretty good. So since I was e-mailing Raph about my online edit option request, I pointed this topic out to him. So maybe he'll pick it up.

Ok I get it now. You are talking about the whole tool bar disapearing, like you can do on windows, where the tool bar can be set to vanish and the re-appear when the mouse runs over that area. I guess that could be cool. Maybe some setup options as to how it would react depending on your preferances.

i dont think we are talking about a disappearing toolbar but that the buttons can open AND close the specific panels. but a disappearing toolbar could be cool for some people.

dmxlighting is tuning in on another frequency.
But still this also could be a good idea.
