Yesterday I've installed the new version of Freestyler ( version 3,2)
A new plugin is the LedTrix. but I've a question about it.

Our Compagny is using Showtec LED Dancefloor panels.
A matrix like LedTrix is extremely usefull for us touse during a show.

But in the adressing I do have a problem.

I've to adress 1 panel the following way.
right upper corner channel 1, 2, 3 ( Red Green Blue)
right lower corner channel 4, 5, 6
left lower corner channel 7, 8, 9
left upper corner channel 10, 11, 12

the following panels are adressed in the same way, only the start adress is not the same.
Is there a plugin that can configure Ledtrix this way?

cant you just address the LEDTriX manually?
I tried to do it for a 2x2 dancefloor matrix: (obs. i know the first dancefloor is not correct adressed, but you see waht i mean)

I know it would take some time but it's worth the try.

I already sorted this out. But if you have 42 panels then it is a lot of work to do.
Well it is true that if you configure the adres mapping once, you can use it several times.
But what if you have a other format. Can you quickly save a layout ? or isn't this possible,

It was only a suggestion if there is a quick configuration. Maybe a suggestion for a possible feature.

The matrix is still not working correctly.
If you set manual adresses and for some reason you have to close the program, then de addressmapping is overwritten by some random values.
the whole matrix is now unusefull. this is a little bug that is quiet easy to fix in my opinion. ( just save the last configuration somewhere .)

for example create a stringrid with the size of the matrix. fill the cells with the value that has been set in the matrix earlyer. Save it somewhere with a file outstream to a textfile ( in the directory plugins is a textfile named ledtrix and filled with something like addressmapping.)
when you open ledtrix. read in the same file and put the adressing back to its position.
But this is only a possible solution. ( quiet easy in C++ or C programming just google for fread, fwrite, filepointer).

there is also another bug, I have reported. if you enter a wrong adress and use backspace the box will write a "1" you cant erase.

I use wall led panels, first led panel adresses are:
bottom right : R 2 G 3 B 4
top right : R 5 G 6 B 7
top left : R 8 G 9 B 10
bottom left : R 11 G 12 B 13
When I use this panel with freestyler it works very well with the right adresses.


With Led trix, to get the good colors, I have to put the adresses with manual mode:
bottom right 3 2 4
top right 5 7 6
top left 8 10 9
and it works well, but for the bottom left, I have tried every combinaison, it don't display the right colors????

So even if it works for 3 parts of the panel, the RGB are not at the same place ???

Hello again,

After closing and restart FS, the Led trix works with my panel, just the Red and green adresses are inverted. It is strange but not a true problem as I know it now. I just have to think to it when I set the matrix for the Wall Led Panels.

Does anyone have the same problem?

has anyone tried useing ledtrix to run a adj revo 4 in 256 channel mode? each led in the 16x16 bank is individually controllable. i can make it work but had to add 64 fixtures as it wont let me create a fixture file that supports 256 channels.

I've got issue like that, when I use LedTrix only my text can move, picture is freezed. Does anyone meet something like that?
