Copying CHR files for different addresses?!

have over 30 sequences saved for my LED Par, now I want to duplicate these files for a different LED Par so I don't waste my time trying to replicate the saved colors I already have. When I try to copy the step I get my other led turning on after I close the lamp. How is this possible?
I understand how to open the CHR file under Chase. I would prefer to copy all my LED Chases, and manually go in there and edit a certain part so that I can assign the file for a seperate address? What can I do?
DJ Support:
are both the dmx addresses the same on both led pars? if not then you can either make them the same or you will have to re-program the file for the DMX Address of your other LED PAR.
Or to possiblly shortcut around that edit the CHR file and replace all instances of the dmx address with the new address and rename then you should have two identical files that work with two addresses! If its possible send me the files to my email and i'll try to perform the above step.
