Hi guys, Alan here, new to freestyler.
When I launch the Fixture Creater, and choose a new profile for my PAR64 6CH 181 Leds. It only gives me two tabs:
Fixtrue Config.
Channel Description
If this is correct. then in the Channel Description Tab, how to put in my DMX functions and corresponding value, for example. my CH5 should be like this:
0~128 Macro
129~255 Strobe
How do i input these settings? thank you?
Alan

Hi Alan..
I guess you chose the "Parcan, dimmer" button in the "create new profile" window. That's not the correct category for a LED PAR can, you have to choose "Other" which gives you the options you are seeking.

Hi thank you for your reply. i clicked on others, and got more options, but if one channel is split into different functions how do we set it in the fixture creater?
What does locate value means? I think i need to find a tutorial for this part.

can you give me an example of which channels are split into different functions. the most common channels which is used for more than one functions is Reset, Shutter, Strobe Intensity and Lamp. In the fixture creator you can type ind the range or the specific value for the the functions to the mentioned channels.
in Freestyler you can Locate your fixture, I'm using it when i'm programming. in freestyler right click on a fixture and choose locate.
i have set the locate values for my moving heads this way:
* Intensity 100% (255)
* Shutter Open. (255)
* Center position (pan/tilit/=127)
and the other channels to 0.
Then i know which fixture i have selected and its ready to program, with some default values i have selected.
