Movement turned off by anything else?

Hello,

My Fixtures :
1x 4 channels Dimmer (with RGBY PAR Cans)
2x Intimidator 2.0 (channels 5 and above, both on seperate channels)

I have a little problem with Freestyler (I am using the last version). I made (for testing purposes only), 5 sequences controlling the Color of the Initimidator (White, RGB and Pink), 5 sequences controlling the Gobo (Closed, Open, and 3 others), and 2 sequences controlling the Movement of the mirror (Circle and Square). I've placed every Sequence in the Programmable Override Buttons.

Now, the problem. I'm doing exactly this.

-Start the Gobo Open Sequence (White spot comes out of the scanner in the visualizer, as it does with my fixture)
-Start the Color Blue Sequence (Blue Spot now)
-Start the Circle Sequence (Blue spot moving around)

Everything is normal at this point. But if I change the Color Sequence to Red, poof, both PAN and TILT channels goes to 255 and the light stop doing the CIRCLE Sequence (it gets desactivated). I double-checked the option "Disable others buttons" on my Color and Gobo Buttons. If I click another Movement Sequence (rectangle, it doesn't matter), the light begins to move again, like it should. If I press another Gobo Button, poof, both channels to 255 again, and no movement.

Thank you very much for your time :-)

You probably 'touched' the pan/tilt controls while making you red color (and gobo) sequences.
That way, the pan/tilt positions gets 'stored' in the sequence. To check, edit the sequence en see if _only_ next to the color control the button says 'snap' or 'fade'. All other buttons (especially the pan/tilt) needs to say 'off'.

Someting else may be that the movement button is disabled when you press the color or gobo button?

After double checks, the Pan/Tilt channels are off.
Someting else may be that the movement button is disabled when you press the color or gobo button?
I could do this, but I want my Gobo and Color Sequences to change only the gobo and color, I want the movements to be separated. Also, it does the same if I put it in a color/gobo sequence.

It was a question _if_ the button gets disabled automaticly by FreeStyler, not if you could configure it that way.

so, what I meant is: you have a button that controls the pan/tilt movements. You press it, the light above the button goes on, indicating that that override button is enabled. Your fixtures start to move, like they should.
Next you press the red color button, the light above lits up, your fixtures become red but your fixtures stop moving. (what you don't want).
At this point, is the light above the pan/tils movement button still on, or did it go off when you pressed the red color button?
If it did go of, than thats the reason why the movements are stopped.

Edit:
I did a little test in my beta version of FS (I'm a beta tester). In my case the pan/tilt button gets disabled whenever I click the red color button. Guess that is your problem also. Seems like a bug in FS.
I did manage to workaround it, I noticed that whenever you make a sequence with a shape, that the pan/tilt buttons remain 'off'. I manually put them to 'snap' and saved the scene, now it works like we should expect: you can start the move button AND the red color button both.
I just don't know if this will be a workaround in the current release (stable) version of FS. You have to try.
Please let us know if it works that way and if it works, report it as a bug in here: (you may refer to this topic).

Hello, thank you for your quick reply :-)

The "LED" above the movement button doesn't gets desactivated. The light just stops moving when I change the gobo / color.

It doesn't work. If I put the Pan-Tilt buttons to Snap in Freestyler with the Movement to ON, there's no movement at all of the light.

Thank you!

Okay, so maybe thats a difference between my beta version and your release version.
In the meantime I pointed this topic out to Raph, the developper as I was submitting some other problems in the beta version, I thought to take this one with it.

Maybe you are helped when you start the movement sequence in the Cue?
