Velleman vm116 k8062 Freestyler problem

I am new to this and just got my adapter i pluged it in and open freestyler and selected my interface. When i try and get output i get nothing. The dmx signal is flashing and if i try the sample software provided with the interface it works. I need help getting the output in freestyler

The software (driver, although its not really a driver) supplied with the VM116 "hangs" sometimes.
Most of the time when switching from one light controller app to another.
Try closing all applications, kill all K8062.exe instances in your taskmanager (if its there) , then try again. (Or just simply reboot your computer).
Start FreeStyler, if not already done, select the Velleman K8026/vm116 as interface.
Try controlling your lights. If the LED on the interface is flashing, it should work. If not, you need to check your DMX channel configuration or used fixtures.
