Hi all,
This is my first time i want to use midi.
I bought this:
http://www.musicallin.nl/online_winkel/ ... abel_37305
I also have the eurolight LC2412
I opend freestyler and go to setup.
Goto the midi menu and then?
Selected at the upper left usb midi as input i think?
What to set as output? nothing?
On the midi to usb converter i found 3 led's
1) For usb (red)
2) no idea, above the notes picture a green led
3) midi side blue led.
Only the red light burns.
I also looked at the manual of the Eurolight but found nothing for the pc.
I also udes google to find how to use midi whit freestyler.
I hope someone can help me to setup midi whit freestyler.

First you have to set the Eurolight LC2412 to send out midi. Look in the manual how to do this (You can find the manual
here. Scroll down and you can choose which language you want the manual on at the left).
connect the PC to the controller this way:
[USB] ---> (IN)[USB/MIDI interface](OUT) --> (IN)[Eurolight LC2412]

I don't know which name is displayed in the dropdown menu but it should be the one for the MIDI interface or the Eurolight LC2412.

nothing, as far as i can see in the manual the controller cant send and receive MIDI at the same time. if it could, Freestyler could send MIDI back to activate LED's on the controller and that stuff... I use it for the BCF2000.
Now it should work and I think the USB LED and the MIDI LED on the USB/MIDI interface should be on, but I am not sure.
If it works it should be possible to set up the MIDI settings in freestyler. Read the Help-->Content in freestyler for further information.
If you still have some problems please write again

Hi,
Thanks for your help!
I still have the problem.
I have a scope at home, found whit google what the pinout of female midi is and a see a signal on my scope.
I see a nice voltage of something like 4volt, and when i use one of the buttons i see a flank going down so the code should be send.
On pin 5 a get a wierd sinus.
So i am almost sure the code iss send by the light table.
Pin 2) ground
Pin 4) CSINK
Pin 5) CSRC
What to do now?

you say still have a problem, but I'm not sure what it is?
Please describe what is happening or not happening as you think it should, and what you have done.
the more details you give the more help you can get from other users of this forum.

Surely it should be this way around, if he wants to send MIDI from the LC2412.
[LC2412](MIDI Out)----->(IN)[USB/MIDI Interface](USB)<------>(USB)[PC]
You are absolutely right,, my bad
You can always connect the other MIDI connector(OUT) to the MIDI IN port on the LC2412, to see if 2 way signals work, it should do, the LC2412 can be controlled from other MID controller.
In fact I would connect both cables to the LC2412.
As i understand the
Manual (page 18) it can only recieve or send MIDI. It cant do both things at the same time

I don't know what the problem is.
I have tried another table but i got the same problem.
Whit my scope i can see that the table sends a code out.
The light on the midi converter still does nothing. I do not have any software or program to change octave. Even don't know how to do it.

Did you load the drivers for the midi to usb converter into your pc? Does your pc recognize the midi converter in Device Manager?
If all that is good, in Freestyler, did you click "start" in the midi setup window so that Freestyler can recieve the midi signals?
Are the midi channels set to the same channel in Freestyler and the midi device?
You may have done this, but I figured I would bring it up.

I did not get a cd whit drivers.
I will take a look if i can find it in the device manager, i could not find drivers for that midi converter.
Bought it at
http://www.blueface.nl/midi-keyboard-in ... p-772.html (dutch)
I already did all other steps.
