Can all type of beams be projected in Easy View?

I've tried a couple of different effects and so far it seems that Easy View can only display a regular movinghead/scanner beam no matter what effect I select.
Is it possible to get a strobe working like it should or perhaps a flower effect like the Martin Wizard?
(It's kinda hard to imagine how it will look when a really broad area effect only is displayed on a regular beam width area)

Well to be honest the vis does have it limitations.
It will do moving heads, scans, color changers, pars, strobes and some LED stuff really well.
It wont do martin wizards or that kinda thing (not many vis platforms will).
Alot of the fixtures on the vis are not very well made. I find myself remaking them to be more accurate.
We are very lucky to have any vis at all really, so make the most of it!

Easy viewer can visualize many effects such as gobo's, colors, prism, iris, zoom, goborotation, gobowheel rotation, colorwheel rotation, strobe, random strobe, pulse effects. Gobowheel and colorwheel is not that good thoug.
EDIT: the selection of gobos and splitcolors are limited.
You have to make sure that the fixture in FS and I'm easy view is the same, use the same functions on same channels and DMX values.
