missing sliders

Hi,
I installed Freestyler 3.0.1 on my Computer.

Now I have the problem that the sliders on the right side dont show up.
When you move your mouse over the bar on the right the sliders wont come out.
The bar changes it's size according to the number of channels, so something iss working.

I tried to solve the problem by using older versions down to Version 2.9.5f, but I always had the same problem.

I would be grateful if anyone could help me.

Greetings Chrom

P.s.: Sorry for an eventually bad Englisch. I'm no native English speaker. :D

Yes I have selected a Fixture. The bar even changes size according to the Number of Channels the Fixture has.
But the sliders won't show up.
I have two Friends, who have the Programm running on their Computers as well.
It's running without any Problems. The main difference between the Systems iss, that they have Vista and I have XP.
I don't know if there are specific Problems with XP and I dindn't find anything about my Problem with the search function.

try to:

1) go to Setup --> FreeStyler Setup --> Preferences --> Extra Options
2) Set a Check mark at "Automatically expand faders when fixture selected"

see if that would solve your problem. if it does, try to remove the check mark and see if still occurs

I tried it but I'm sorry it didn't work. It didn't with and without the check mark.
Does someone know about special software components that have to be installed, to run Freestyler?

I tried what you said but it still didn't work.
I'll be away for a few days now, but I think I will try this with diferent versions of Freestyler.
But I'm pretty pesimistic about it.
Thanks so far and have a nice Weekend.

As expected, it also doesn't work with the older Version 2.9.5f.
Could there be any Problems with onboard graphics?
I would be pleased about some more Hints.

Thanks

At this point, anything can be the source of the problem.

You could try updating your graphics driver, maybe even try another screen resolution to see what happens then.
Maybe try FreeStyler maximized, or just not maximized.

Do you have a dual monitor setup? Try dragging FreeStyler to the other screen and test again.

Most of the above options ar'nt the real solution, but may give you or us enough info to find out whats wrong.

There were no problems with the 3d visualizer. But just now I foud the solution for the problem.
The DPI value was 120 by default, I never even thought about this value.
A moment ago I switched it to the usual value of 96 ad after restarting, the sliders suddenly showed up.
The only Problem left iss, that evrything else on my screen is a little smaler now. But i will get used to it.

Thanks to all of you for your help.
I think the thread can be closed now.

Greetings Chrom

Well done.
Maybe you could make a bugreport of this;
Please fill out this form, and when it really turns out to be a bug, it might be solved in a next release of FreeStyler.
[bugreporting][/bugreporting]

Edit:
FYI:
I tried this with the current beta release of FreeStyler, setting my Dpi to 120, reboot, god - what looks windows ugly then, start FreeStyler, works okay.
I could not wait setting the Dpi resolution back to 96, I never loved a reboot so much.
So, it seems that the problem is already fixed, or that some other thing in your windows is the cause of this, together with the Dpi setting.
Maybe you should sign up as beta tester to try out yourself. (be sure to keep a backup of a stable FreeStyler version (installation and settings), as with a beta, you'll never know whats behind the corner).
If you want to beta-test, send an e-mail to the user lj_raph
I already informed him about the Dpi story, together with some other problem I had.
