After a few weeks of experimenting with my Multidim mk2, (i also posted a speed glitch topic a few weeks ago) I noticed that the Velleman Usb k8062 slows down the dmx line in Freestyler.

When I use the provided testsoftware of the velleman kit I have no problems with speed glitches, even if I use a high speed chase.
When I use Freestyler to control, I notice a less performing k8062, speed glitches can be noticed at my multidim.
Also when I'm using freestyler to control, I see that dmx status leds flicker less than in the velleman test software.

Is there a way to improve the signal speed in Freestyler for this k8062?

I think the k8062 support needs some improvement, but i think improvements have to be made by the software writer.

I still believe Freestyler is one of the best dmx software on the market, but with a better performance for this k8062 it will even be better!

Can someone verify my "speed glitch" using freestyler? And notice better performance with the velleman dmx_demo.exe??

I am also having the same problem.
I possess 2 moving heads ACME IM250S, strobo DMX, fog machine. In the last weekend I used more 6 moving heads ROBE XT 250. My interface K8062 is also with the activity led DMX blinking a lot. Only a moving worked. The second moving was "crazy" blinking all leds of the panel. When I close the program the led of the interface K8062 doesn't blink and it is normal. In the original program of the interface this problem doesn't happen.
