Transparent / Static Switching

I have quite a few cue lists where some of them I use in static mode, and some in transparent. When I program the sequences up I select which I want, but it would be great if Freestyler could recognise what mode the sequence has been programmed in and adjust the way the sequence is played in the cue window accordingly?

Basically, when you save a cue, if you had an option fo either static or transparent, everytime you then load that cue using the drop down box, the correct method of control would automatically be selected? Rather than having to alter it in the options menu everytime?

Just an idea?!?
Would this be helpful to others?

could you explain with a bit more detail, the problem you get and then the solution you have come up with?

Basically I think he said would it be good if at run time in the cue list you could turn lets say transparent sequences that you have created in to atatic ones at the toggle of a box...and back again...

Oooook, I will try again!

My problem:
I play guitar, and trigger a selection of 20 cues by use of my midi foot controller. All of these 20 scenes are programmed in Static mode. When i select cue 1, it plays, then when i select cue 4 it stops cue 1 and plays cue 4. Thats great...

But then when the disco start, i use the drop down list in the cue window to select my 'Disco' sequences, then go into Freestyler Options to enable multi select. All the sequences in my dicso cue are programmed in transparent mode, so that I can play cue 1 to make my moving heads move, and then cue 5 that changes the colours etc. This helps me mix things up during the disco because I am at the computer screen, and can see whats playing, and whats stopped.

Then just before we start out 2nd set, I have to change the multiselect option back to disabled...

So my question is.... Could there be an tick box or something that shows on the cue selector area, so upon selecting a new cue from the drop down list, it auctomatically changes the multi select option for you?! Is that a little clearer?

Freestyler cant automatically change the multi select, but you can make a keyboard shortcut so you can change the multiselect easier and quicker!

1) go to Setup --> Freestyler Setup --> External Control --> Keyboard Shortcuts
2) Find and mark the "Multiselect" and press a button on your keyboard you want to use for shortcut

Now you just press that shortcut key when you want to activate/deactivate multiselect. Freestyler don't show if it is activated or not thoug!!

EDIT: instead of using a keyboard short cut you can assign the multiselect form a midi controller if you have one connected to Freestyler!
