You could always use the dmx400. It will do most of what you want!
OK its not too hard to do.
DMX400 will work well for 4,6,8 or 12 fixtures with an 'intensity' set in its FS profile.
On your fs desktop, right click each fixture you want to use in turn and select 'Use in DMX400...'
As you do this a box will appear asking which channel you want it to be on (from 1 to 12). Give each fixture a unique channel ID.
Launch DMX400, click 'chaser' and select one of the 10 patterens. You can play with the fades to get various results on speed, intensity etc.
If you have some LED pars then there are some features for control over them too.
You should find it easy enough after 1/2 hour of playing around with it. Remember that its only for live use and you cannot save any setting into sequencies / cues etc.
