fading out submasters with midi, cant get 0%

Hi Guys,
I am having a bit of a problem getting the submasters to go down to 0% using midi.
I can control them up and down by setting the note velocity, and can get them down to 1% but not 0.
This is a bit of a problem, as the LED fixtures pop on pretty quickly as the intensity goes up and it is pretty much impossible to turn them off at the mo.
How do you get the submasters down to 0%? any ideas?
Another gig coming up in a couple of days and I am stumped at the mo!
Any help appreciated.
Ben

Hi Guys,
Just a quick update on this, I have found a workaround to the problem.
It seems that the issue only exists when using midi note 0 (c0) setting this to a velocity of 0 (noteoff) seems to do nothing.
By moving the mapping for the submaster to a different note (in my case d0, note 2) it seems to work as expected and the submaster can be faded to 0%
Most odd, hope this helps if anyone else has the issue (however unlikely that may be)
B.

Hi There LJ,
No I am afraid not, I am using a program called glovepie, which allows you to script midi output based on inputs such as keyboard presses, joystick movements and in my case a Wiimote
It possible that it might be the glovepie that has the problem rather than FS, but i have no way of testing, dont know if anyone can recreate the issue with a different controller?
The glovepie setup is pretty fun, as it means you dont necessarily need to be behind the desk at all times. E.g. in my configuration, holding downn the "home" button means you can fade the level of the submaster by rolling the wiimote left and right

I dont know the program but is sounds cool.
I havent experienced the problem with my BCF2000 Interface, but have problems to set a certain values cause of the resolution of the Midi interface (127 values and dmx is 255). sometimes i cant hit the value 255, but always 0. sounds like it is a similar problem you have?
