The config editor only seems to work on an older version of java.
The easiest and best way is just to program the console by hand, i usually create a list of notes and what function id like to assign them to before i start to make it easier.
The manual is a bit fiddly if you need some help setting it up, il gladly give you some steps to get you on your way.

Problem solved
It is like mat said, the program only works with older versions from java, I downloade 1.4 and then it works. So my console is working now.
Just their is one thing, I programmed fader 1 and 2 to the pan and tilt channel. It are motorized faders, so if I change it in the program it hase to change at my console? right? That is nog working with me... my fader stays at the same possion

First of all make sure in the midi setup screen make sure you have both the midi input and output set to the bcf2000 its the drop down boxes along the top of the midi setting page in freestyler.
The second is when running sequences in freestlyer the sliders will not move on the bcf2000 so that the motors in the faders do not get warn out quickly.
However if you open the pan/tilt window in freestyler on a fixture, and manualy adjust the pan or tilt i'm pretty sure the slider should move on the desk.
the other point is you might need to select the fixture or group of fixtures in freestyler first, i have a buttton setup on the bcf2000 to select the group of my moving heads so when i adjust the pan and tilt it knows which lights it has to adjust.
hope thats helpful, i'm sure someone else can correct this further.
