Aligning and centering scanners

Hi everyone.

I've searched through the forums and I'm a little surprised I haven't found a discussion about this. Does FreeStyler have a software solution to align and center scanners? When I send the value "127" to my scanners' pan and tilt channels, the mirrors don't point perfectly to the center as one would expect. I don't want to manually align the heads by rotating the fixtures on their clamps; Keeping the scanners mounted in it's place is a priority for my application. Is there a way where I can program FreeStyler to mathematically offset each of my scanner's DMX values so I can align my fixtures and keep them mounted as they are? Thanks!

BTW, I was thinking a software offset to the pan & tilt channels could be a great way to build-in a linear fan....

You are right, settings like that are not present.
It might come out handy if they were.
Kind of the same as the pan/tilt swap and inverse settings. But then as offsets, manually filled in.
Would be great if that can be build in.

Ill second that one.
Ive lost count of the nuber of times I have broken out the ladders to adjust fixtures 5 meters in the sky.
A software adjustment would make sense.

It looks like I found the answer! Go to:
Setup > FreeStyler Setup > Preferences > Correction
In the channel listing, enter positive or negative numbers to offset the pan and tilt, and click "Save". The program has remembered these values after I restarted it once too. It's not as elegant as having a 2D control input, but as long as it can be done in this current release, I'm not complaining!!
ETA: I also have been able to build-in a linear fan into my lights this way! Woo-hoo!!!

Hi All
Did you tried the "Compensation values"? (in FreeStyler setup).
It should be possible to fill in positive and negative values to compensate differences between channels.
Best regards
