After speading some time playing with the fixture creator for the 3d visulizer, I have cracked it!

I use a lot of Abstarct VRX Colours and Scans and wanted the vis to represent the fixture correctly.
The current bundled profile has really bad gobo mis-shapes and no gobo rotate at all.
Also the colour wheel rainbow effect was not quite right.

It took me ages to correct all this so I thought I would share it with you all (if you use these fixtures)

Or if any admin dudes can tell me how to add the files here I will do that

Tried that, it said zip was not a valid file for uploading ????????????

Think its allowing .zip files now so please use this if you need it.

this forum was only designed for Freestyler fixture files so I think it was originally setup just to use exported fixture files as if its a zip it could confuse people or have stuff untoward on there. If need be I can create a new forum solely for 3D visualiser fixtures... but really sunlight should sort that out at there end...

I know the point of extensions I meant if peopke wanted to upload fixtures for easyview they should do it somehwhere on the sunlight website then people should go looking for them there,,,,

I think its fairly pointless to remove the profile I created.
I posted it here because I am an FS user and was happy to share the files with fellow users.
Sunlight are probably not gonna bother to sort these issues so posting it the would be a waste of time.
If you are worried about the use of ZIP's then I can upload the individual files for an SR, CR & GR.
Also if Zips are a problem then how do you expect anyone to upload there shows etc for people to see. You would need to upload
loads of files for it to work so in that instance a zip would be the answer.

As for confusing people looking for FS fixture file. I was careful to make it clear what the files are for.

This forum is supposed to be about sharing info and helping others taking down files is clearly going against the point here.

So im asking that you reinstate the files either on this thread or create a new thread just for 3D Vis files.
Then people can make and informed dission as to whether they want to down load a zip or not.

I would also like to say that Im not having a go at any one here but I do feel strongly that removing it is wrong and sends out the wrong message to other users.
Encourage people to help others not discourage.

plus me and Matt host this forum for free but it cains bandwith lol from our hosting servers so in our pioint of view better to have the fs only uploads on here ;-P

Its been avalible here for months now anyway, dont think many people have ever downloaded it. A whole lot of fuss about nothing.

Right lets get this clear I did not get rid of your attachment honest to god.... nor did I enable or disable zips in this part of the forum (I only just read ur last post dmxlighting)

I will open up a dedicated section for easy view 3d ok?

Shows us your shows allows zips i'll review the setup ok!
