Anyone that owns a dj scan 250 is probably (UGH) that theres no strobbing function (shutter)! Well theres a way that i found out hot to sequence one.........
1) make sure you have all the dj scans highlighted.
2) open the CREATE SEQUENCE on the top of FS window.
3) set all the fixtures to the last gobo which is like a starish type figure.
4) press the ADD button on the CREATE SEQUENCE window.
5) now on the lamp window, pull the top sqroller to the right, so there is no ouput from the dj scans (if you go all the way you will se that it goes to gobo shake on the gobo wheels blank position)
6) press the add button once again.
7) now on the CREATE SEQUENCE window use the reverse and forward buttons to make sure that you did the following correctly
8) now save this sequence as "shutter"
9) now open the PROGRAMMABLE OVERIDE BUTTONS on the top of FS windon
10) click on the yellow open folder on the right hand side of the window
11) drag "shutter" over to the first opening
12) click on the little box next to FLASH BUTTON
13) press the yellow open folder again and then you should see the shutter button
14) before you use this make sure the dj scans are on the last gobo position
15) press the button really fast and youl get a strobe effect!!! and its good for blackout too!!!!
