Hi Guys,
Is it possible to use one laptop only to run freestyler, and PCDJ RED v7.01 without PC crashing which mine has in practise sessions.
How do I shut down all other programmes ( the ones running in background that we never see) and will this free PCU usage?
Or is it better and safer to use seperate laptops?

Shutting down other software will not make that much of a difference. Please post you system specs before we think further.

i run freestyler alongside vitual dj with karaoke and videos with no problem its also my main laptop the best way to do it to ensure its stable is to have a 2 partitions with windows installed

1. the main partition for day to day use
2. install only the software you need use on a night in my case freestyler and virtual dj also disable any hardware you wont use e.g wireless

my laptop is only a dual intel duo 1.8ghz with 1 gig of ram and an velleman interface for dmx i also use a midi dj controller
