hi guys,
has anyone created a fixture file for a Kam KSM DMX1600V Vertical fogger, it arrives in a couple of days and im just seeing that if i cant make or adapt one then maybe i can get help from you lot.I have adapted lighting fixtures but not so sure on smoke mc's. had a quick nose online at the manual and it does not appear to state what channel does what. i have loads of time to play before my first show, i can use the wireless remote but i would prefer to use dmx to impress my clients and im not sure how effective the wireless will be.
cheers in advance

It would be handy if you just posted the link to the fixture. Now I had to google for it. Being helped creating a fixture file requires to give as many info as you have, also you should really try before asking here.
Read the forum rules at the top of this page states the same and more. So next time we expect something more from you.

Reading along the manual I don't think its that hard. As I see it, its an 1 channel DMX device.

Agree; I use hazers most of the time, with variable fan+smoke control. I don't need them remote controlled but they are DMX controllable, wich I just dont connect. I set them up in the beginning, then it needs tweaks during the night, 1 or 2 times. After that its fine.

Seeing the price of the DMX1600V I understand why it has no extended controls.

in freestyler you can select your fixtures, right click (or click on "fixture" at the top) and select "locate selected fixtures". the selected fixtures will now go to the locate values for each channels where the locate value is set in the fixture file.
