Cues how do I do this?

Some people will design cues with one for color, another cue for gobos, another cue for shutter and another for movement.
I am having problems accomplishing this. I currently am using 30 chauvet techno strobes. My goal is to to have 15 staggered 1 color and 15 staggered another color. Since I go out in multiples of 2, I created 2 fixtures to make the scenes with. I then inserted the sequence into the second slot down on the cue page. The cue was saved and inserted into the cue list on the appropriate page.

Now I do the same thing for movement of my Elation Design Spot 250 and save this to a different page. Now when I click my movement button for the Elation light, the cue on the separate page for the chauvet turns off. I believe I have transparent cues and multi select working. I may be wrong. Please tell me this is a quick fix.

Cue's can only run on one page at a time as far as I know.
If you select another page, then all cue's stop working, and the cues in that selected page are all started.

If you need to mix cues, put them together in one page.

that kinda sounds right remco as raph probably wouldn't have expected anyone to want to run that many cues at thee same time...

or you can use the submaster if you have over 20 sequences in total. then u can make a cue with movements, one with colors, one with gobos and so on

tendril made a good detailed discription about how to use the Submaster and what benefits it will give you.

Look at it here

The cues buttons are very good to use more than one sequence, like play multi-fixtures with one click, but the sequences need to have all the parameters(color, gobo, etc) defined...or can use manual option to override. Select colors..etc in the fixture parameters windows.

Yes submaster do wath this boy needs, i see the video and the first think in my little brain...said Submaster...hehehe

From the video, it looks like you are only inserting one cue per page, and haven't realised you can insert up to 20. These could be different colours or gobo's or complete scenes utilising multiple fixtures on each cue.

Or maybe I missed something !! ;-)
