How do you use the bank of blank buttons in the CUE window? I cannot figure it out not matter how hard I try.

In the cue window, at the top left is cog icon to represent the settings.
Settings -> Save Cue.
That will save all the cues in the list and will apear in the top left drop down box for quick cue changing.
Now if you click the settings button above the bank of buttons
settings -> insert cue list.
You will be able to drag the newly created cue list onto a button.
Pressing the button will play all cues in the list.

Thank you. I've got two cues saved in my cue list. When I drag ONE of them to a button. When I CLICK the button, BOTH the cues start playing.
Why would we need to use those larger buttons, when you can simply click the little "play" button next to a cue?
I'm talking about ver 3.0.1.

Some people will design cues with one for color, another cue for gobos, another cue for shutter and another for movement.
This is how i do it it allows for a more flexible show, but i would generally use the sub masters.
But if theres a certain look i want i can assemble the cues into the list, save and then activate them all through one button click.

Hi Mattone,
I live for this software. I can't tell you how much I enjoy it. It's like the equivelent of a Sony Playstation for me.
Do you know why ALL my cures get assigned to a button when I only select ONE of them from the cue list?
I guess what 'm trying to do is have a button assigned with the cure (that has one scene in it) labelled CAKE. When i press that button, the lights shine on the CAKE.
Is this somehting I can use those buttons for?

I would use the 'overide' buttons for that set to flash then map it to say 1 on your keyboard using the keyboard shortcuts settings when you hold 1 on your keyboard the light will go straight to the cake and when you let go it will continue the running cue thats playing - just remember overide buttons only play static scenes I.e. if you make a scene with two steps it will only play the first one!

when u save the list it saves every cue in the list not just the ones u have selected.
clear the list add the cues u want. save and add to button.
then clear the list add different ones to the list. save add to another button.
rinse, wash, repeat.
